Transportation

Mary Wade offers a fleet of handicapped accessible vans to service our older adults in need of transportation within the Greater New Haven area.  Our professional drivers are friendly and courteous and focused on the safety and security of our clients.  Drivers are fully licensed and trained in medical emergencies.

The Transportation program has two services, Weekend and Medical which provides curb-to-curb service Monday through Friday for individuals age 60 and older residing in Branford, New Haven, East Haven, West Haven, North Haven and Hamden. This program is free of charge but collects voluntary donations to support the program. Riders for this program cannot be eligible for Medicaid.

To schedule a ride, call (203) 672-7837 or fax your request at (203) 773-6995.  Reservations are scheduled 2 weeks in advance – a minimum of 72 hours is required.

From our extended family

“I would like to thank Mary Wade for the care Mom receives there. It is given with skill, compassion and friendliness. The nursing staff is most attentive and thorough in recognizing any signs of illness, infection or injury. We appreciate their policy of calling us to keep us up to date on any issues with
