Support Groups

Mary Wade’s support groups provide opportunities for people to share similar experiences, feelings, coping strategies or first hand information about diseases or treatment.  We offer a series of support groups which focus on matters that particularly effect older adults and their families and caregivers.  Support Groups change throughout the year, so check in on this page for updated information.

We understand the challenges you face in caring for someone suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease or other memory-related diseases.  Our Alzheimer’s and Dementia Caregivers Support Group is held the second Wednesday of each month, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.  This support group is led by one of Mary Wade’s specially trained and certified clinicians.  Join other family members and caregivers to learn more about the disease, share personal experiences, and learn about the resources that are available to care for your loved one.

For those suffering from chronic lung disease, and their caregivers, Mary Wade’s chapter of the Better Breathers Club is held the last Wednesday of each month, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Learn better ways to cope with conditions such as COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, and asthma while getting the support of others in similar situations. Led by a trained facilitator, these in-person adult support groups give you the tools you need to live the best quality of life you can.
