Mary Wade is pleased to introduce Dr. Andre Cassell, who joins our team through our partnership with PACT of West Haven. Dr. Cassell is a physiatrist who specializes in pain management. His practice focuses on assisting residents in restoring function after injuries to muscle, bone, soft tissue, and/or nerve tissue. Dr. Cassell is a welcome addition to our team and works closely with our primary care providers, therapy department, and nursing team to provide a holistic approach to resident health care at Mary Wade.

Dr. Cassell received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine internship at Drexel University College of Medicine, followed by a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He then pursued a fellowship in Clinical Informatics at MetroHealth Medical Center.

The Mary Wade Wound Team is proud to work alongside Adrian K. Wyllie, MD, MBA, CWSP, FAPWH medical director and founder of Complete Wound Care, with locations in Wallingford and Milford, CT.

Dr. Wyllie began his journey in wound care during his general surgery residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and has since become a recognized leader in the field. He developed Connecticut’s largest post-acute and long-term care wound program and is leveraging artificial intelligence to transform wound assessment and healing projections.
