The Senior Class at Hopkins School in New Haven recently visited Chatham Place at Mary Wade Assisted Living Community for a session of creative canvas painting, a wonderfully therapeutic and enjoyable activity. Through self-expression in art, students engaged their memory and problem-solving skills while experimenting with a variety of colors, shapes, and techniques.
In addition, the seniors planted seeds, fostering positive connections and promoting healthier eating habits. These hands-on experiences not only stimulated creativity but also encouraged wellness and community for both the students and Chatham Place residents.
