We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jessica Soto as Director of Memory Care at Chatham Place at Mary Wade.
Memory care plays a vital role in supporting individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. As cognitive changes progress, specialized environments, trained staff, and thoughtfully designed programming become essential to maintaining safety, dignity, and quality of life. Effective memory care not only addresses clinical needs, but also fosters meaningful engagement, reduces anxiety, and supports emotional well-being—while providing families with reassurance and peace of mind.
Jessica brings more than 24 years of progressive experience in healthcare, along with a deep commitment to delivering compassionate, person-centered care. As a National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP) Certified Dementia Practitioner, she offers extensive expertise in supporting individuals living with memory loss and cognitive change.
In her new role, Jessica will oversee the daily operations of our Memory Care neighborhood, including Memory Care Light, and provide leadership to both our CNA and life enrichment programming teams. Her professional background in Therapeutic Recreation ensures a well-rounded, engaging approach to care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life for each resident.
Jessica also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, which further strengthens her holistic philosophy—supporting not only the cognitive and physical needs of residents, but their emotional and spiritual well-being as well.
We are excited to welcome Jessica to our leadership team and look forward to the positive impact she will have on our residents, families, and staff.
