This parade began ten years ago when a national organization, LeadingAge, began an initiative to bring a parade to aging adults who were unable to attend local parades due to varying health conditions. 

We thank you for marching and participating in this annual event that celebrates our wonderful Fair Haven Community. We are honored to acknowledge the Outstanding Community Leader chosen by their peers for their continued dedication.

Reaching out to our neighbors

Mary Wade’s commitment to our residents and members involves the broader community. Community Outreach efforts allow residents and members to share their knowledge and talents with their neighbors, as well as meet and socialize with a wide variety of people.

Partnerships and associations include the City of New Haven, the Agency on Aging of South Central CT, the Fair Haven Community Health Center, Chatham Square Neighborhood Association, the Atwater Senior Center, the Fair Haven Management Team, Fair Haven Police District, St. Francis & St. Rose School.
